A sample 15-hour month.
For a local service business getting started. Your split will depend on what you need, and it can change every month.
The fine print, which isn't very fine.
Do you charge for meetings?
No. The $125 rate covers production: writing, building, designing, launching, and reporting. Calls and meetings, weekly or monthly, are free.
Why work a quarter ahead?
Producing three months of social posts in one batch is faster and more consistent than doing it week by week. It also frees the rest of your hours for ads, SEO, and new ideas. Some agencies avoid it because finished content makes it easier for you to leave. We think that's the wrong reason to keep a client.
Is ad spend included?
No. Ad spend is paid directly to Google, Meta, or LinkedIn from your own account. My hours cover building and managing the campaigns.
Is there a contract?
Month-to-month. Retainers are paid at the start of each month. If it's not working, you stop.
What happens to my stuff if we stop working together?
Nothing. It's already yours. Accounts, ads, content, website, all of it stays in your name the entire time.
Can I start with fewer than 15 hours?
15 hours is the minimum. Below that, there isn't enough time to produce results worth paying for.
